Oracle-owned files in /var/tmp

Hi,

What are the files owned by oracle in /var/tmp on Solaris 2.6/Oracle 8.1? Can I remove them?

(I did ask Oracle Support this question their replay was that they think it would be ok to remove the files but to be safe backup teh system first , remove the files and check that everything still works fine! Very good for Oracle support. They do not know how their product works!)
