Do you have any experience with Statspack?

We are using Enterprise Edition 8.1.5 on Sun Solaris 2.6. We are considering picking up the patchset for Statspack.

What sort of experience have people had using Statspack? Good, bad, problems, gotchas, etc? I remember reading something on Oracle-L about it, but I don't remember any specifics.
