I have been working on the same kind of set up this week in the same environment in a VMS cluster.

Luckily this is new hardware -- lease is expiring on existing hardware.

Have just started testing.

Using two nodes have created and Oracle 7 and 8 database on each node and am using the listener.ora file from 816.

In the listener.ora have created a listener to be started on each node with the databases for each node defined in LISTNODEA and LISTNODEB.

So far, I haven't seen andy problems, but this is very early in the testing phase.
