Re: RMAN sample scripts provided with Oracle 8.1.6

You should see the following files in the demo directory:

  case1.rcv
  case2.rcv
  case3.rcv
  case4.rcv
  case5.rcv
  rman1.sh
  rman2.sh

Check metalink for:
  Note 50875.1
  Note 109223.1
  Note 123854.1

With all of the above, I got rman working on HP and Solaris without too=  much trouble.
