Yeah, IBM showed us a 390 running 16,000 instances of Linux. Impressive. So
was the price, but not much more than an E10K (what's a million bucks among
friends?).
Linux may not yet be quite ready for prime time, but give it a few years (months?)...
I'm also starting to think all my old '80's mainframe experience may not be all for naught. Is there such a thing as PL/1 for Linux yet? :>)

IBM sells some pretty hefty servers that can run linux.
