I'm sure others have their favorites; but, I like Joe Celko's "SQL For Smarties: Advanced SQL Programming", ISBN 1558605762. Though I do not have Joe Celko's "SQL Puzzles and Answers", ISBN 1558604537, I understand it is a good book as well. www.bookpool.com contains descriptions of the two books.
