CONTEXT server hangs...Any ideas on how to solve it?

Hi All:
OS: solaris 2.6
Oracle: 8.1.5

Context server log looks clean- no errors.. Here is an excerpt.

All sql statement with CONTAINS in the where clause hang. ALTER INDEX HOMEPAGE_SRCH_FI2 REBUILD ONLINE PARAMETERS ('SYNC') hangs.. Received on Tue Nov 21 2000 - 16:34:06 CST
