I discovered the same thing. I am in the states (California), but I = use Singapor server because I have a much better performance and I don't = get the "time out error".

I guess that it's because of the time difference .=20 When it's midday in Europe , it's a night time in the USA , so U are = almost the only user of the USA server -> U get the best performance ! = :))=20

I spent some time comparing the response times ( while being in the = Europe , the USA and Australia ) and it's always faster to use the = server of the region where it's the middle of the night now .
