Hi Gopal/List

On 7.3.4.5 on AIX 4.3.3 when Running a Batch Processing Option (Interest Calculation on Bank Accounts)

Following Error Message Displayed in the TOAD Performance Tool :- Message - DBWR Average Scan Depth , Suggestion "Number of DB_FILES to High ?"

STATUS - As of Now we are reaching a Peak of 500 A/cs processed per minute DB Server Machine S80 Model of IBM - 12 CPUs , 3 GB RAM APP Server from which Firing Occuring = Thin Node of 4 CPUs with 1 GB RAM

NOTE - CPU Utilization if minimal

RAM Utilization :-
Almost Full RAM (3 GB) on DB Server is Utilized APP Server - About a 100-200MB of 1GB is Free A Small percent of Swapping is happening on Both DB & APP Servers

NOTE - Report.txt in the section "system wide-waits for non-backgroud processes" show
SMALL values for DB file Sequential Reads , latch free

How do we Approach this Issue ?
