Those numbers are the output of a big ugly polynomial that is used in the checksum algorithm of the 'sum' command, henceforth proving that 'as' and 'is' are spelled differently.

Hope you weren't expecting more than that.

In my own defense, many developers have used more characters to write code even more useless code than that. ;)
