Yeah, I made the same connection. I "had" to see the opening on Friday as
part of a company "function." The really scary part was that several
co-workers actually liked the movie. The movie for the last such company
function was Mission Impossible 2. Sigh... could all this fantasy be a
reflection of the dot.con mentality?
What is it about the blending of fantasy and technology? Aren't they opposites? We need some good fact-based reality like Cops. "Bad Boy. Bad Bill. Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when Janet Reno comes for you?"
In the mood for a good non-fiction novel...
