My last client was using Vignette, some connections
were lost from times to times with an ORA-3113 but
each time it was a networking problem.
The other thing that bothered me was that 90% of the
transactions were rolled back (according to statspack
and v$sysstat). It is a high rollback ratio.
I know very little about networking, but the
networking organisation seems pretty complex at that
client (multiple servers, Altheon switches, many IP
adresses) and each time it was a networking problem.
