Think of it.
You come home to your apartment building.
You see the dumpster, as always.
You see crime scene tape around the dumpster.
And a fellow apartment dweller tells you:

Do you then say to yourself:
"Don't worry, it was just a note from the police, saying
the body is gone, now"
?
Not that I know it was a virus but

Maybe I am being paranoid, but a smallish Word97 file containing binaries?
