Hi Anjali,
If Oracle SID is not set it will give the other error. Default =
Oracle SID is the database name=20
to which I would like to connect.
Giri
Hi,
I am not very sure with the solution... But can you check the default = Oracle SID parameter.=20
If it is not the same which you are using with this problem... then = set it to the right value.. and hope this works...
Regards,
Hi All,
While connecting to Oracle Database with an id other than Oracle = i am getting the=20
following problem
ld.so.1: oracleEMPLOY: fatal: libobk.so: open failed: No such file = or directory
ERROR:

When I start Listener using the same id i am facing the foll. = problem
bash-2.03$ lsnrctl start

Starting /export/home1/oracle8/product/8.0.6/bin/tnslsnr: please = wait...

log/listener.log
NL-00278: cannot open log file SNL-00016: snlfohd: error opening file Solaris Error: 13: Permission denied = =20
While connecting using Oracle Id i am able to connect without any = problem.
What could be the problem? I think there would be some permission = problems.
TIA
Giri
