Yep.. thats correct.. Ran into that issue before, thats why you should use
RMAN's duplicate option (not that I've done it..) to create a copy of the
database instead of a tradition cloning. I usually get around these issues
when my clients do this by creating a seperate schema for every recovery
catalog so it won't matter if there is a duplicate DBID.
