Don't forget the following:

_voltage_developer=10000 # for kicking off a cartesian join and wondering why it kills the server.
_voltage_user=1000 # for asking why they can't link a 10-million row table into MS Access.
_voltage_DBA=10 # for reminding myself to not forget to recreate that stupid public synonym.
_voltage_manager=1000000 # for making me explain why not to use MS SQL Server again.

Of course, these are all invoked by either database triggers, or by a simple "alter system discipline" command.

and finally, the undocumented v$view:

v$resume # useful for post-incomplete recoveries...

I tried _make_sql_run_faster = true, and it works

here is the parameters(sorry for the re-run for some of you).

Oracle 8.0 _make_sql_run_faster = true
Oracle 8.1 _make_sql_run_faster=1 .. 10
pick a value from 1 to 10 to make the sql run faster Oracle 8.2(or 9i) _make_sql_run_faster = unlimited no more tuning needed, auto tuning and real quick.

This is a joke for you newbies.
