U need to set path for /usr/ccb/bin. check metalink for an article on t=
his.
it has a checklist on what u are supposed to check and do.
in this case u can check the path variables (including ld_library_path)=
for
the oracle user and use the same in the other user.

directory
ERROR:
ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact
When I start Listener using the same id i am facing the foll. problem

While connecting using Oracle Id i am able to connect without any prob= lem.
