Thanks for the reply. I opened a TAR with Oracle on this and a few other = installation issues. Bottom line, when they realized I was on Solaris 8 = (2.8) they blew me off with the "the software is not certified for that OS = level" Tar closed!!! Its interesting that IAS V1.0 worked fairly well on = my Solaris 8 box, I only dumped it because why waste the time on an = already obsolete version. For now I'll load it on a Solaris 2.6 box as = soon as the new storage is installed. The new 9iAS takes +3gb to install.

Sorry I couldn't reply to this earlier. I was in a class and unable to keep up with all the mail.
Did you resolve this?
FYI, When I replied, I Cc'd the list also. When someone sends you a reply to a list post, it is usually a good idea to reply to all recipients.
In my case, I was just offering a suggestion. Had your reply to me been CC'd to the list, someone else may have had a solution.
