We have both running here. They appear to run and be managed pretty much
the same. Main issue is to watch what you are reading on Metalink, etc. to
see which version, patches, and bugs apply. A problem in one is not
necessarily seen in the other.

I'd like to know if there are differences in installing and managing Oracle in the 64 bits version besides the ability to have a bigger SGA.
We're currently on 8.1.6 (32bits)/Solaris 2.6 .
