1st of all I'll not send the contents of your original message as a courtesy to Bruce.

2nd, Yes we are using 8.1.6 on HP-UX 11 in both the 32 and 64 bit modes. It is running very well with few bugs (one of the reasons why we waited for 8i release 2). I have used Partitioning with no problems in test. Our production areas don't need it right now. Sorry I've not migrated it to our larger DB's mainly because they're still running UX 10.20. BTW: all of our production DB's are classes as mission critical, especially the WEB app we've just deployed.
