Hello Everybody,

I have a developer asking if we can do the following, before I tell him NO, I thought I would ask the community. . .

We have a large Java app that uses rowids to access data from tables. There is a table that has non-unique data in a column, he wants to get the rowids for the unique values of this column.

I can't see anyway to do this, because the rowids are already unique I can't seem to pick or choose. Wondered if anyone else has run across this before.

Thanks,
Randy J. Christiansen
