RE: Can't connect to databaseThanks Satar,
I already found the problem: our systems admin put a sencond network card (NIC) into the box. Any hints on how to configure what NIC card is going to be used?
Thanks,
Helmut

try sqlplus user/pw_at_192.168.2.23 or sqlplus user/pw_at_daffy.WORLD

When I'm locally on the server, I can connect as user/pw_at_alias
Any ideas?
