Multiple oracle accounts on unix

My client started server consolidation and now we have hp n class server with 3gb ram and 4 cpu.

We have oracle financials and oracle sales comp. instances running on the server. We are running out of resources on the box and not able to start instances for lack of memory. Some of the user processes grab lot of resources and it's difficult for us identify whether they belong to oracle financials or oracle sales comp.So we are not in a position to kill them. So we thought by creating separate oracle accounts we can solve this problem. But before creating the accounts I want to take the experts advice on pros and cons of creating multiple accounts.
