John,
The reply is late coz I have not been checking the
mail... anyway you could have a procedure setup as a
job to monitor these jobs. Fire it before users start
using the db and reset the jobs next(using dbms_job)
if any job is scheduled to execute before the day end
when users leave.
I use this also to keep me posted(by sending email)
if any job has not executed.
