Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: utl_file_dir parameter
You can put in multiple lines such as:
utl_file_dir = u01/app/oracle/utl_file_dir
utl_file_dir = u01/app/oracle/TOOLS/reports

Subject: utl_file_dir parameter
We would like to create files in various directories on HP unix using the utl_file package
Since what we really need is utl_file_dir = /directory/users/* which does not work, and we do not want to specify the following due to security reasons, is there any alternative methods that are available to accomplish this? utl_file_dir = *
