Himalaya is OK, it has been around for a while. Formerly as TANDEM. And, of
course Tandem has always built some of the highest quality hardware around and
invented NON-STOP SQL. And, all processors get used all the time, as opposed to
the IBM "no single point of failure" solution. But it doesn't come cheep. If
your requirement includes "no single point of failure" then consider the added
cost of TANDEM, otherwise use the 7X24 capabilities of ORACLE on a SUN E-10000,
HP V-Class, or IBM SP2.

Sorry, but I am not sure AIX is the most powerful unix-based machine. I am considering Compaq's Himalaya nonstop clustering and its equivalent....
