Hi all,

we have a production database that uses snapshots on tables within the database itself, which needs to be reorganised. if I simply export/import the database I get loads of error messages which Oracle tells me to ignore. I would like a reorg w/o error messages however. Does anybody have a workable solution for this. My only other option is to recreate the whole database from scripts, disable all triggers and export/import just the tables of the production schema. The problem with that is that I don't get all the userids that have been created.

The thing is I need to get rid of the storage clauses in this database.

Could I precreate the tables in the second database, do an export/import without the data and than do an export/import of just the production schema's tables? Do I miss something than?

Jack
