u need to reset the starting address of the SGA and recreate some =
freakin
k*.o objects and finally relink the oracle binaries. if all this does =
not
make sense and sounds weird to you and even then u are still intrested =
in
step by step details of the same.. please reply to me and i will =
forward you
the doc i picked up off of ML for configuring large sga's under 32 bit =
OS as
is the case for u. i am not even aware if there is a init parameter to
enable this execpt the regular dbbuffer/sharedpool and logbuff =
parameters

Yes, you should defintly increase the SHMMAX parameter so Oracle can =
get one
single shared memory segment for the SGA.

/etc/system, like SHMMAX.
