Hello,
One of the big features is dataguards...
Logical Standby DB.
You will not apply the archive logs but run the sql
that create the redo log infos.
So will be able to have your stby db open ( up to 9
stby on the same time).
It will not be ready before Q1 next year.
But it looks good.
One other stuff is that you can access same datafiles
from different machine and just plug in new machines
when you need more power. !!!
