Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: Oracle Internet Directory
Amy, I followed the DOC 110353.1 and did not have any
problems. I am using NT 4.0 with SP5 and 8.1.6. I have
seen bind errors before but this typcially means that it
couldn't log in as the appropiate user. Make sure you
have the users ods and odscommon. The passwords are the
same as the username by default. Make sure you check the
ORACLE_HOME\ldap\log directory for problems. I am by no
means an LDAP or OID expert but I have been able to
install it and use netscape's address book to connect.
