Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Upgrade HP-UX10.20 to HP-UX11
What version of the database are you running?
I believe that you will need to re-install Oracle
as Oracle created two different sets of executables
one for 10.20 and one for hp-ux 11. They
are not interchangeable. I also believe that most
of your pro*c code will have to be recompiled.
(we recompiled EVERYTHING)
It will make sense when you stop thinking logically and start thinking Oracle-ly - Jim Droppa
