Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> truncate causing enqueues?
Hi all,
We had a reasonably idle system, and kicked a create index with degree 10.
Everything looks nice. We issue a truncate of a table in a different
tablespace, and within a few minutes every create index process shows an
enqueue. As far as we can tell, the create index comes to a complete halt.
Kill the truncate, the enqueues go away, and the create index completes.
We're going to do some more poking at it, but anyone seen this?
Cheers,
Russ Brooks
