8.1.6.0 on Unix....
I do:
sqlplus (return)
at the username prompt I type
/ as sysdba
and I connect in, without a password, as SYS
This is the new functionality that is supposed to do away with svrmgrl. Server Manager is supposedly desupported in 8.1.6 (or so I thought) but it's still available.
