Ghosting Oracle installed disk

Hello Lists,

Does anybody come across GHOSTing RAID configured disks with Oracle installed in it? I want to get the following clarified:
After ghosting to a fresh machine, if the machine name changes will it create any problems? Does oracle store the machine name in some dictionary views? Is there any white paper for this?

Any help would be highly appreciated.
