How can you define the NLS_LANG parameter in the .profile file ? With =
the
SETENV command ? (I'm in tcsh) ? Should I do that for both importing =
and
exporting operations ?

Objet: RE: Import/Export with data containing portuguese characters
The characterset of the database to be imported must be the same with =
the
database that you export.
The most important point is the NLS_LANG parameter must be set correct =
in
the .profile file of the OS user that you import.

I have a database with data having characters (all accents in =
portuguese
language). When I make an export and import it to another database, I =
lose
all special characters like "=E3" transformed into "?". Is there =
options of
Import or Export to conserve these characters ?
Please Help !!!
