SQL*Net error 12203 because of firewall.

Hi All,

Oracle 7.3 server,Oracle 8 client, Solaris,

I am getting a ora-12203 unable to connect to destination. Connections to port 1521 are allowed thru the
firewall. However, when trying to connect via sql*plus after the 5th or so packet that goes thru it
tries to go to another port other than 1521 and get above error message. It has something to do
with dynamic ports but I am NO unix sys admin at all. Does anyone have any ideas on how to
correct?
