Paging of Oracle events in NT

List,
  Does anyone know of any methods of paging (pagers, cell phones, etc.) Oracle events (Instances down, Tablespace full, etc.) in the Windows NT environment without using a dedicated server with modem. OEM's documentation states that it is necessary to use a modem (apparently a server with smtp forwarding,etc is not a valid option.)

Very interested in anyone's experiences, solutions, etc.
