List,
my listener is tracing the following lines....even though i DONT have a
protocol.ora !!!
---------+-------------+-----------------+---------------------------------
nttcnp: Validnode Table IN use; err 0x0
nttvlser: valid node check on incoming node 62.11.10.9
---------+-------------+-----------------+---------------------------------
usually this kind of trace is associated with a protocol.ora
specifying the INVITED_NODES parameter.. !!
When i actually create the protocol.ora, the file is NOT used at all
i can connect from IP's NOT listed in the INVITED_NODES...
i'm on aix 8.1.5, and my TNS_ADMIN is pointing to the right dir..
