The code is working = fine.The only possibility could be YOU MIGHT HAVE NOT SET THE = SQL*PLUS  ENVIRONMENT OPTION  "SET SERVEROUTPUT = ON"

Try setting the = option at the sql prompt like this :

SQL>set = serveroutput on;

Then run your PL/SQL = Code.
