Access of libclntsh.so.8.0

Hi Gurus,
We have a program written in Pro*C and this program connects to a database and uses a libclntsh.so.8.0 in ORACLE_HOME/lib library.

The problem we encounter is with the Unix user Oracle (Software owner): we can run this program, but with another user, we get:

"ld.so.1 prsqlout: fatal: libclntsh.so.8.0: open failed: No such file or directory"
In my opinion, this is a permission problem. What should the permission be for the ORACLE_HOME file structure? And for the ORACLE_HOME/lib library?
