Problem with global_names URGENT

Hi All,

I have global_names=false in my init.ora file and I issued

alter database rename global_name to glcrep;

however when I say
select global_name from global_name it still shows glcrep.domain.xxx.xxx

Any ideas??

I don't want it to add domain name.. it's causing me problem with db links.
