SYS.OBJ$ & SYS.SEQ$

Does anyone know of any danger in granting select on SYS.OBJ$ and SYS.SEQ$ to all users in my system? (The developers of the off-the-shelf application we are using against my will claim they need all users to have access to these tables.)
