Isn't that because its expecting a number rather than a string containing a list of numbers. Change the variable to be a varchar. This may mean that you have to put some code in place to validate the contents of the string.

This is how you would do it in SQL. I am in the query form of Oracle Reports. When you enter the string of numbers in, the bind variable is expecting one value and does not recognize the commas. Therein lies the trick somewhere and I am not sure where it is!
