Hi,=20
we are running an Oracle Database 8.0.6 on Windows NT. Recently wqe had a complete stand stil of the database - machine saying = CPU
is 100 percent busy, even with database in startup mode - we tried = that.
Besides the database nothing else is running on the machine.

This behaviour vanished after several hours, but came back some other = time,
vanished again.
The logfiles are not suggesting anything special. Any idea what might go wrong. We and Oracle have no idea where to look = for
the cause.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Antje Sackwitz
