You can create public synonyms. These synonyms are for all users.

An: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L Betreff: Another newbie question about roles...and synonyms.

Can I create synonyms via a role?

i.e. when I create a user I use a role. I want this user to be able to = refer
to objects in myschema using a synonym rather than myschema.object

Is this possible?

John
