Oracle has a query available called ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/utllockt.sql = that will assist you in determining what and who are holding locks and = what and who are waiting for them to release. Be sure to rof the catblock.s= ql script first if you have not done so in the past. Ron Rogers
