Check your sqlnet.ora for the following: NAMES.DEFAULT_DOMAIN = world.
If its not there, or there is something else then world after the '='
then that is your issue.

I think it has something to do with the initialization parameter GLOBAL_NAMES.
If set to TRUE you need to use scott/tiger_at_test.world if FALSE you can use scott/tiger_at_test
