You do not have objectives ?
A good management should discuss with you and together
establish objectives (and check your productivity).
Then your status report should match that.
As a development dba, I must support the development
team, look for new functionnalities in the product to
help the developpers (for example Intermedia and blob
stuff are my turf), tuning db, tuning sql, time for
TARs , documention,...,
Some management have project code, activity code taht
you fill by hours, others by half day.
