The COMPRESS option is basically used during the import of the data. If =
the COMPRESS=3DY option is used during the export function then the import =
function will place the data in one initial extent, if the COMPRESS=3DN is =
used the data is retained in the extents of the original table. It =
shouldn't really make any noticable difference during an export as time is =
concerned.

Which is fastest, an export with Compress =3D Y or an export with Compress =
=3D N
???
