I ran into something similar to this. When we were migrating to Oracle from
SQL Server7, our software engineers wanted to be able to access somewhat
real-time data from the Oracle server. So, I created a DTS package on the
SQL Server that exports the data to the Oracle server, saved the package to
the repository, and told it to run every 4 hours. Once the engineers were
done changing the application, I did one final export and shutdown the SQL
server. We are now an all Oracle shop. :->

Subject: SQL Server into Oracle
Does anyone have any experience either grabbing data out of SQL Server and loading it into Oracle or know how SQL Server would capture data and then it retrieved and put into an Oracle Database?
Thanks,
Rodney
